Create your site

Where to start

Describe your business in French, as you would to someone: who you are, what you offer, to whom. One sentence is enough to start.

Next, you pick a category (landing page, website or shop), then a template. Every template is shown live, not as a screenshot. “Free rein” lets the team design from your description.

The plan, before any building

Before writing anything at all, the Architect proposes a plan: the sections of the site, what it understood about your business, and the products it spotted in your description.

Fix it just by saying so (“no testimonials, and add an FAQ”) as many times as you need. This step is free: nothing is counted until you say “Let's go”.

Getting your business name recognised

The safest way is to write it in quotes: “My shop is called ‘Cire & Mèche’”. Common turns of phrase are understood too: “we are called…”, “my name is…”, or the name placed at the head of the sentence.

If the name didn't carry over, just click it in the preview to fix it: it's free.

Change your site

By chat or by click

Two ways, and they don't cost the same. The chat understands requests that touch the structure or the look (“make it green”, “add a search bar”, “apply the Minuit template”): each one uses credits, and you see the amount beforehand.

To change some text, use “Edit text” in the preview instead, then the text itself. It is instant and free: no model is called.

Change template without losing your text

Say “apply the Black Showcase template”. Your content (name, text, services, products) stays as it is; only the style changes. If the new template has no shop section and you had one, it's carried over rather than lost.

Go back

The History tab keeps every version, showing exactly what changed, line by line. “Go back here” recreates the chosen state at the top of the history: nothing is ever erased, and going back costs nothing.

Credits

Understanding credits

Credits pay for the building work: the models that write your site. The amount is announced before every action, your balance drops by exactly what was written, and if the real cost is lower, the difference is returned to you.

If an action fails, everything is refunded automatically: that's not a sales pitch, the database itself guarantees it.

  • Free: the first build, the plans, click-to-edit, going back, the export
  • Paid: every build or change by the team

“You have reached the build limit”

A limit per hour and per day protects the service from automated use. It is set high enough never to bother anyone working normally. Nothing is charged when it triggers: wait a few minutes and carry on.

Your code, your account

Export your site

The “Export” button offers two formats. The archive contains the files: open index.html in a browser, or upload them to any host. The Git repository contains the same files with a first commit: unzip it and type git log.

The export is available on every plan, including the free one. Your code belongs to you.

Put your own photos in

Illustrated blocks are drawn graphics, not photos: we don't generate photos. To use your own, export your site and replace the SVG tag with an image tag; the README file in the export walks you through it.

Uploading photos from Odoro will arrive in a future version.

Your account and your data

You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so there's no password to remember. From your dashboard, the account menu lets you sign out and delete your account yourself.

Deleting your account erases your projects and forgets your address. Credit movements, which carry no personal data, stay in the accounting ledger.

What does not exist yet

Worth knowing before you start.
